IEEE BEEEP 5th of month for readership by middle of following month Allen Taylor
email Tom Canning

Procedures:

Since the first program committee meeting, we have been doing everything by email.

This page -  http://www.ieee.or.com/IEEE_Pdx_CompCommSoc.html - is to help us keep track of the state of all program proposals.

If you have an idea for a program, you can send it out to the committee to see what people think of the idea.  If there is agreement that this would be a good topic, you can then arrange the details with the presenter.

We have been aiming for the second Thursday of the month.  The table on my web site is to give you an idea of the current availability of free dates. It also mentions deadlines for publicity.  Ed Perkins has been taking care of publicity, once the contact person gathers the abstract and bio from the presenter.  Tom Canning has been arranging the use of the IBM facility.

Voting:

Send your vote on a proposal to Steve Greenberg, s.greenberg@ieee.org. He will keep track of the vote and post a running tally on this web site.
